The Pembroke Rackets Tennis Club (PRTC) is located in Pembroke, just off St Andrews Road. Set in a scheduled recreational area in quaint surroundings, the club comprises two tennis courts and a small club house which has a kitchenette, showers, toilet and a common area.

The two tennis courts both have a floodlighting system which is one of the best on the island. PRTC was founded in 1980 by a group of friends who resided in Balluta and in fact the club's original name was Balluta Rackets Tennis Club. The club moved to Pembroke in 1981 and was renamed Pembroke Rackets Tennis Club on 1st February 1998. The club is well known for the numerous tennis leagues and other competitions it organises. In fact many people join the club specifically to play competitive tennis. A third court, a couple of minutes walk away from the club, has been leased to enable us to accommodate the large number of fixtures and bookings.

Membership continues to grow and today PRTC is a tennis club for over 500 members, most of whom are very active and keen tennis players. In fact such is the growth in membership and given the limited facilities available the club has had to restrict membership and impose a waiting list on new applications.

Your PRTC committee is made up of the following :
President - Chris Briffa
Secretary - Mariella Ferrante
Treasurer - Sandy Marshall
Members - Karen Calleja, Alex Gollcher, Ian Wirth
